Community Profiles - New Hampton

New Hampton has several lakes within its boundaries, such as Lake Winona, Pemigewasset Lake, Sky Pond and Lake Waukewan. The Pemigewasset River also flows through New Hampton and the Ayer's Island generating facility is located there.

Famous for its schools, New Hampton is home to the New Hampton Community School, a highly regarded elementary school serving about 170 students and their families, and the New Hampton School, a private day and boarding school serving about 340 students from grade 9 and above.
