Lakes Region Planning Commission

Lakes Region Conservation Trust
A 22-year-old non-profit, regional land trust, they have already protected over 15,000 acres of beautiful mountain tops, islands, shorefront, wetlands and watersheds in the heart of New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources
The historical, archaeological, architectural and cultural resources of New Hampshire are among its most important environmental assets. Historic preservation promotes the use, understanding and conservation of such resources for the education, inspiration, pleasure and enrichment of New Hampshire's citizens.
NH Department of Environmental Services
The protection and wise management of the state of New Hampshire's environment are the important goals of the N.H. Department of Environmental Services (DES). The department's responsibilities range from ensuring high levels of water quality for water supplies, ecological balance, and recreational benefits, to regulating the emissions of air pollutants, to fostering the proper management of municipal and industrial waste, to managing water resources for future generations.
