BFA Indirect Loan Program
Purpose:
Funding is made available by the New Hampshire Business Finance Authority to assist local development organizations in retaining existing businesses and attracting new business opportunities.
Participation:
Participation is based on an analysis of the client's needs to determine if the program provides a good fit for the company.
If the program is a good fit, the BCEDC would apply to the BFA for funding and then make the funds available to the client using one of the following two methods:
- Lend the funds directly to the company, or
- Purchase the desired asset and lease to the company with a lease-purchase agreement in place.
Community Benefit:
Jobs are retained, created, or both. With building expansion or construction, the town benefits from an expanded tax base.
Business Benefit:
Access to financing that may not be available in the conventional market. Additionally, if the asset financed is leased from the BCEDC, the up front equity investment is reduced increasing operational cash flow.
Other terms and restrictions may apply. For complete details, contact the BCEDC.
